So what is "The Feed"?

We know that many of you appreciate and use our site's search feature. Unfortunately, captioning images so that they can be searched is a time-consuming process, and we also know that many of you would like to see the photos from a game as soon as possible. "The Feed" is our way of bringing you the best of both worlds.

In "The Feed" you'll find action photos posted within two business days of a game we shoot. They won't have captions, won't be searchable, and will have only minimal toning and color correction. These same images will appear later in our permanent catalog, fully captioned and searchable. Now you can decide if you'd like to browse images right away after a game, or wait a bit longer and perform a search to see only photos of your favorite athlete.

A few things to keep in mind. First, photos will not be on display permanently in "The Feed." Instead, we'll be purging "The Feed" at the end of each season. Rest assured, every photo you see here will wind up on display in our searchable permanent collection. Second, even though the photos on display in "The Feed" haven't been optimized for display with toning, cropping, and color correction, you can be sure that if you place an order we'll spend the same amount of time preparing your prints as we do for an order out of our regular collection. In the end, you won't notice a quality difference between photos ordered from "The Feed" and photos ordered from anywhere else on our site.
